Dow's nearly 50-point fall led by losses in shares of Microsoft, Home Depot

Shares of Microsoft and Home Depot are trading lower Monday morning, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. The Dow was most recently trading 48 points, or 0.1%, lower, as shares of Microsoft and Home Depot are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Microsoft’s shares are off $5.70, or 2.3%, while those of Home Depot are off $5.50, or 1.8%, combining for an approximately 74-point drag on the Dow. Walmart Apple and Dow are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
