Walmart, Walgreens Boots share losses lead Dow's 50-point fall

Dragged down by negative returns for shares of Walmart and Walgreens Boots, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Friday morning. The Dow was most recently trading 54 points lower (-0.2%), as shares of Walmart and Walgreens Boots have contributed to the index’s intraday decline. Walmart’s shares are off $3.34, or 2.4%, while those of Walgreens Boots have fallen $0.99, or 2.1%, combining for a roughly 28-point drag on the Dow. Johnson & Johnson Apple Inc. and UnitedHealth are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
